Did you know that there’s a new ‘Book a Desk option’ available in New Outlook calendar?

You’ll find it under the ‘New Event’ drop down in Outlook Calendar.

This experience works with the new desk object (for individual desks) and desk pools.

You’ll also need the Teams Premium licence to see it!

One thing to watch out for is that – currently – you can’t see the new desk object in Places Finder and the Places app – you can only see desk pools.

Microsoft states that its working to bring feature parity between these two experiences. Reference this article about the new desk object.

In the meantime, this video compares the UX when working with the new Book a desk option in Outlook versus the Places Finder and the Places App in Outlook and Teams.
